Here is a link to our Grade 8 fluids page on Mr. Fitch's world!  When we were learning about fluids the class was assigned a project to be done at school in the workshop.  This project was to create a crane using hydraulics in a group of three or four.  The crane had to be able to lift a container 15cm, rotate 90 degrees, and slide laterally and roll 10 cm.  To see more about this assignment it is on the fluids page on Mr.Fitch's World.  We learned about fluids after the Christmas break.  Here is a link to the Fluids page on Mr.Fitch's World:
